High in the rain-swept mountains which separate Iran from Turkmenistan lies Kalat and the Sun Castle. Built by the Persian monarch, Nader Shah, early in the 18th Century it protected Iran against attack from the north. We meet the people of Kalat who guide us through their local sites and stories.
